Have you tried the Nokia skin? Using the Nokia skin on my iphone, the reason that I see the address bar never goes away on some pages is there is nothing to scroll; eg the skin fits perfectly inside the screen space, including the top and bottom Safari bars. On other, non-SS pages where the address bar appears to 'disappear' it's because I've scrolled down the page, and the header bar scrolls off. On a SS Nokia skin page that requires scrolling, like the Artist list, the header bar scrolls off just as it does on other pages.
