I have contributed an updated SqueezeCenter 7.0 RPM that has the
following major changes:
- Rename everything from SlimServer to SqueezeCenter
- Support for SUSE as well as Red Hat and it's derivatives
- Follow the Linux Filesystem Hierarchy Standard
(http://www.pathname.com/fhs/)
- Use the system copies of mysqld, flac and sox
- Add support for logrotate
- Minor RPM spec bug fixes

This version is not yet included in nightly builds, but if you want to
test it I've made it available via yum. To install using yum:

Code:
--------------------
    rpm -ivh
http://repos.slimdevices.com/yum/squeezecenter-testing/squeezecenter-testing-release-1-1.noarch.rpm
--------------------

This enables the yum repo by installing
/etc/yum.repos.d/slimserver-testing-release.repo. Then install the RPM
with

Code:
--------------------
    yum install squeezecenter
--------------------

If you don't use yum, you can download the RPM from
http://repos.slimdevices.com/yum/squeezecenter-testing/. I don't have
an automatic script to build nightlys, but I'll upload a new version
every few days if there's interest. You can then update with "yum
update".

Installing this RPM will remove your SlimServer RPM. When updating
from any SlimServer RPM >=6.0, it should properly import your
preferences.

Please test it and provide feedback, especially on RPM packaging
related issues.
