Yeah apt is a hang up from the pre yum days, ClarkConnect will be
migrating to yum with v5.0 early next year but for the moment it still
uses apt.

All three packages are available with an apt-get in C-C:

flac... also installs: libogg
sox...  also installs: libvorbis (and libogg if you haven't installed
flac first)
mysql-server... also installs: mysql, perl-DBD-MySQL & perl-DBI

After reading Robin's post I haven't installed them to try again - I
don't want to screw up my main system, but I'll try it tomorrow on my
test system which I can afford to mess up.
