Hi Fletch I tried to install on ClarkConnect 4.2, as it uses apt rather than yum I tried to install it directly from your .rpm with the the following command:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# rpm -ivh http://repos.slimdevices.com/yum/squeezecenter-test ing/squeezecenter-7.0-0.1.20071030.noarch.rpm Retrieving http://repos.slimdevices.com/yum/squeezecenter-testing/squeezecenter- 7.0-0.1.20071030.noarch.rpm error: Failed dependencies: /usr/bin/mysqld_safe is needed by squeezecenter-7.0-0.1.20071030.noarch flac is needed by squeezecenter-7.0-0.1.20071030.noarch sox is needed by squeezecenter-7.0-0.1.20071030.noarch I was upgrading from SC7 (build 14113) where I didn't have any dependency issues. I notice in your change log you modified the rpm to use the systems mysql, flac and sox (which I'm sure RHEL, CENTOS & Fedora install by default but not ClarkConnect): http://svn.slimdevices.com/trunk/platforms/redhat/squeezecenter.spec?rev=14161&view=log Any chance of restoring it to the way it was? Hope that helps Mick -- mick_w http://www.ulverston.myzen.co.uk/mini-itx/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mick_w's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6526 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39789 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
