What's the output of "ps -ef | > grep mysqld"? Any errors in > /var/cache/squeezecenter/mysql-error-log.txt?
I think it's working now!! Thank you for the help. SELinux is set to permissive, as verified by sestatus. There seemed to be multiple instances of mysqld running so, based on bug 5620, I issued: killall mysqld; and that seems to have done the trick. I did start from a fresh install of the 11-06 rpm. For the first time with SC7, I can see the status and it is scanning for music. Wonderful. Thank you again, and I will look forward to following the progress with SC7. -jason -- jwmelvin ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jwmelvin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2564 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39789 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
