Well, I'm still waiting for a plugin to either put the SC 7.0 server
platform to sleep (stand-by) or to run scripts remotely on the server
OS platform via the IR remote. Again, I don't like the idea of having
to turn on my laptop just to put the server to sleep. I really miss the
shutdownserver plugin, but I have not seen or heard anything about it
being ported to 7.0.

My SC 7.0 server platform wakes up just fine using WOL via the remote.
I just want to do the reverse using the same remote.

Just out of curiosity... What are folks doing with their computers/NAS
(SC 7.0 server platform) when they're done listening to music?

1.) Put the server to sleep using Windows Remote Desktop (Like I do)
2.) Use something like the rexec daemon to shutdown the server?
3.) Walk up to the SC Server computer/NAS and turn it off?
4.) Walk to your home central switch box and flip all the switches?
5.) Call ConEd and ask to have the power discontinue?

For me, keeping the server running all day is not an economical or
environmentally friendly option.
