I'm really confused why people are saying they don't like the 3D buttons. I think they look great! It gives the interface a modern, slick look.
Also, I don't agree with everyone's comments on "too much white space makes it complex". What about Google's homepage? ;-) However, I do agree that the alignment could use a little adjusting.
