I'm having a hard time understanding how a little white text field that sits out of the way of the main page is ever considered clutter by anyone. Having a search component readily available is a critical piece on sites that have a lot of "items" to look through. When I go to Amazon.com, I very rarely look for my item by browsing through the categories. I usually use the search function to find it. Likewise, when I'm looking for a certain song, I'd much rather just search for it rather than going through the multiple clicks required for a browse. How many times have you seen advice on these forums to "browse" for the answer their looking for? *Never*. It's always "search". ;-) -- kyleki ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kyleki's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2510 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41417 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
