Dave, It most likely will... the reason for the 'conflict' setting on the 'slimserver' package is to make sure that people know it doesn't play well with the original files. Instead of working hard to recover existing settings from 'wrong' directories (ie /etc/slimserver, and others), we are concentrating on renaming things so they're in the right directories going forward.
