I see the favorites icon has been added to several list views, eg. album and
song context. eg. I can click the favorites "heart" icon on an album in a list
of albums, and it changes to a heart with a "-" to indicate remove from
favorites. I can navigate to the favorite and press play, and voila it works.
Good stuff.
I'm intruigued to know how it works though. The url added to favorites looks
like "db:album.titlesearch=IN%20RAINBOWS" for Radioheads latest album.
Does this mean those links can be added to playlists, or directly typed into a
browser url for it to be handled by SqueezeCenter (like "lastfm:" monikers)?
Also, I went to a "Greatest Hits" album (one of many with the same album name),
and indeed the link looks like "db:album.titlesearch=GREATEST%20HITS". When I
play this favorite, it correctly only plays the one Greatest Hit album, not all
songs on any greatest hits album - how does that work?
There appear to be other places in the web UI that don't currently have
add/remove favorites icons. Eg. Search results.
I've also noticed that if I go to an album display ("Home > Albums > Greatest
Hits"), the favorite icon is always an add action; I never see the "-" for
remove from favorites.
