Are there other valid "db:" link formats? eg, for artist name search? Would this produce a heirarchy of albums/songs? Can more than one search param be put in a url? eg. "db:album.titlesearch=Greatest%20Hits&artist.name=Genesis"? I was thinking that this would be a great way to achieve bookmarking of common searches. Run a search, and click Add to favorites in the search results (maybe on "All Songs" item), and it would store a "db:keyword=money" for all songs containing "money". That's the start of rudimentary support for dynamic/smart playlists. Michael Herger;256855 Wrote: > > That's a limitation of using titles instead of IDs. But IDs wouldn't > survive rescans... But then, can a "Greatest Hits" album be a personal > favorite?!? ;-) > Not really a good example, but I'm sure I have other album name clashes that would be legitimate uses. Anyway, my point was that it didn't seem to be a limitation - it actually worked - I added a greatest hits album as a favorite, and when I played the favorite, it played just the songs on that greatest hits album, not all greatest hits albums. So, I didn't understand why it wasn't a limitation! -- Philip Meyer ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Philip Meyer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=95 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41999 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
