I just signed up for a RadioIO account and the Soundpass feature which allows one to listen without commercials.
I was using Slimserver 6.5.4 and firmware version 81 with my SB. I set up my RadioIO account with username and password on SqueezeNetwork (Under Accounts). Unfortunately, RadioIO did not seem to recognize that I had signed up for the Soundpass service and I was still hearing commercials when the SB was connected to SN. I wrote to RadioIO support and they assured me that I was signed up for Soundpass and indicated that some changes had been made to Slimserver for RadioIO and that I should run the latest firmware/software. So, I downloaded and installed Slimserver 6.5.5. This did not work either. Next, I downloaded and installed the latest beta of SqueezeCenter. Again, this is not recognizing that my user name/account for RadioIO is set up to use Soundpass. Any suggestions? Has anyone had this problem? Also, as long as I'm on the topic, the new SqueezeCenter software says that it integrates SlimServer and SlimNetwork so that one should not have to use two different programs. But, I don't see an "Accounts" link on any of the SqueezeCenter pages for setting up account info (like for RadioIO), whereas there is a link for Accounts and inputting this info on the SqueezeNetwork page. Is this an oversight? Thanks for any help. -- Pete -- ptorpey ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ptorpey's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12072 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42133 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
