No. The computer that SC runs from is the fastest computer I have in the house. Softsqueeze isn't running, and I never run iTunes except when I plug in my iPod at which time I immediately shut down iTunes (I HATE iTunes!) via Task Damager. I don't presently have antivirus on that machine (I just haven't gotten around to installing it).
Squeezecenter runs VERY slow MOST of the time on that computer. Plus, when it starts behaving like that, I have no control of the Squeezebox via remote control.
