If you don't investigate the problem and report back then the issue might not be fixed by the time 7.3 is released, it could be that other people don't get the same problem and until someone with the issue reports it in detail it can't get fixed.
Collecting the log needed isn't as hard as you think. It goes something like this: - connect to the SqueezeCenter web interface - open "Settings" - click on the "Advanced" tab - select "Logging" from the drop downlist in the top left - scroll down to the "player.source" item - select "info" from the drop down list next to the item - click "Apply" - restart SqueezeCenter (you might not need to restart, can't remember) - start one of your tracks - skip to another track, make sure you get your nasty noise - open SqueezeCenter again - open "Settings" - click on the "Status" tab - scroll down to the bottom - click on the "server.log" link - copy the contents - paste them into a forum post here Sounds complicated, should be fairly easy if you work through a step at a time. Reverting to 7.2 is just a case of running the 7.2 installer again. But it would be best to collect the log info first. -- andynormancx Yes, it will. Yes, all of them. Yes, SoftSqueeze as well.
