After posting the log of my problem in 7.3 I reinstalled 7.2.1 (thanks for the instructions) and voila!, the problem of the machine gun sound between tracks has vanished.
Of interest, some of the artwork from 7.3 survives in my reinstall of 7.2.1 for some reason!! I seem to have about 10% or so of the artwork available (about 50% of the Beatles for some reason except that Rubber Soul was the album playing that provided the log under 7.3 if that helps) for viewing under SC and on my Duet controller. Go figure. I would like to clean out my log still so any info on how to do that is appreciated.
