It is possible there's an incompatibility there. Actually, what happened was this: on my old original hw beta jive: I upgraded to 7.3, against the 7.3 svn code on my server. The jive then locked up with a "bad uuid" message, so I sent it back to MickyG to be regrooved. When I got it back, I was back to running 7.2.1 on my server so the jive volunteered to update the firmware back to 7.2. After restarting with the 7.2 version the jive's scroll wheel was inoperable. I'll just shelve this unit until I permanently make the shift to SC 7.3 and then use your vol+ trick to setup and upgrade to the latest firmware then.
