It doesn't work properly when you are in playlist mode and you press
play from a custom browse menu using Erland's Custom Browse plugin. And
by that I mean the play button replaces the playlist when you use it in
a custom browse menu, but adds next when you use it from a regular SC
menu.

I don't know if this is an issue for you or for Erland, but I suspect
Erland, so I am posting it here rather than opening a bug.

I thought I was going to like the playlist mode, but after playing with
it a bit, I don't care for it. I voted in the party mode bug, but not
because I ever have parties. My reason for voting was because I've done
too many accidental wipeouts and alterations of the active playlist. All
this mode switching and changing button behavior is too complicated to
remember. In fact, a good number of my unintentional playlist changes
are because I didn't remember certain button behaviors.

I feel that a simple prompt at any point where the playlist could
potentially be wiped/altered would be a better approach. Something
like:

Code:
--------------------
    What to do?
  Replace NP
  Add to end of NP
  Play Next
--------------------

If you could also prompt before deleting songs when pressing add in the
NP list, that would be good too. And *please* add one for whatever it is
that wipes the whole darn list because I did that by accident last night
and still don't know what I did to cause it.

If you wanted to have an additional party mode for:
> # Play button for non-tracks (artists/albums/years/genres) drills into
> the track listing for that item
> # Remove "Play All" menu item from track listing menus
that would be fine, too.
