I agree.  The reason for "disabled" and "off" modes seems to simply be because 
of the added complexity of the silly automatic switching of modes using the add 
button.  "disabled" is needed to turn that automatic functionality off.  If 
automatic switching was removed, then the option to switch modes could be 
simplified.

I'm not too bothered by the mode names, but I don't find "Playlist" mode 
descriptive enough - it could mean anything to the uninitiated.  Perhaps 
instead:

"Play" mode (or perhaps it could be called Replace or Destructive) would be the 
default normal mode.
"Queue" mode (or perhaps Add mode) indicates that music is added to the current 
playlist
"Party" mode name I think is okay.
