I've just bought a Boom (very nice) to add to my SB3 and have started to
use it as a bedroom alarmclock and it has shown up some problems. A
search found this thread and bug.

Having had both players synced during the day, I set the alarm on the
boom and woke to find the (left-on but idle)SB3 powering the main hifi
downstairs too! I can't be sure from reading the bug comments how this
is intended to work now but this doesn't seem right. I'd certainly like
to have at least the option to have alarms unsync from sync groups.

Experimenting has shown the problem of leaving them synced:- if one
synced player has an alarm set to go off at 7.00 with one playlist, and
another player's alarm is due to go off at 7.15 playing something else,
then player1 will come on OK at 7.00. Player2 if powered off will not
come on, but at 7.15 it will start with its playlist and switch player1
to player2's playlist. Very annoying for for the listener to player1!

I'm running 7.4-25434-whs.msi
