Ok finally reinstalled it. This is what I needed to do. Uninstall fully when RDCed into WHS (you MUST wipe the prefs otherwise it doesn't work) Reboot Check you get no scanner.exe or cleaner.exe faults. Reinstall from Console Ignore error message Cancel RDC into WHS and bring up the Control Panel Start SC Reinstall again from the Console Success!
About 2hours work to work that all out. I'm now on 26189. I hope you get this sorted soon! I thought that since the preferences made a difference it could be a problem with some of those. I saved the problem prefs, do you want a copy?
