My internet connection has recently been converted to ADSL2+, which is quite agressive in what it tries to achieve with the UK's ageing copper phone lines.
I've been experiencing frequent short-duration connection dropouts (maybe as it renegotiates line speed). This is generally worse in the mornings. When I am playing an internet radio station stream and my connection is dropped, obviously music playback stops. The connection comes back within a few seconds, but Squeezebox Server doesn't auto-resume. It would seem a good idea to periodically try to auto-resume streams when the connection is lost, not permanently stop.
