Just wanted to add another voice to this. I get similar results - most often listening to Capital FM (London) - and my broadband is rock solid so it's not that.
In my experience, the music will play (sometimes for hours) uninterrupted, then stop. After anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes, it starts again (usually scaring me half to death!) :-) Sometimes it never starts at all. I've also noticed, particularly with the Boom, that the player buttons will become unresponsive when this happens. On several occasions I've had to 'force' the player off, after which things return to normal.
