I'd have to say that the 7.4 beta has been through too many iterations (changes) and that the moment it was decided that the db engine needed to be changed to SQLite the releases should have been renamed 7.4.x or 7.5 "Alpha". This was a radical change that affected almost every aspect of the server. Those of us following the beta forum were aware of this big change, but the folks that were not following the forum were not fully aware of how unstable the beta releases were made when SQLite was introduced.
