If I do it in the Windows Control Panel, the Music Scan details goes blank for about 10-20 seconds and then it shows: Total Tracks: 0 Total Albums: 0 Total Artists: 0 Total Genres: 0 Total Playing Time: 0:00:00 Then I go to the Advanced tab and open scanner.log and the last entry is from July 18--the day I opened this thread.
