I blew everything away and reinstalled. I immediately stopped the scan because it defaults to the Windows Music folder which is not where I store my music.
I tried changing the music path in the Control panel, but it doesn't "stick" and I have to change it in the webUI. I have filed a bug for this -- http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=12932 I've reinstalled about 5 times and that always happens. After that it shows "No music library configured." on the information tab of the WebUI, but scanner.exe is running, so I guess I will wait it out a couple of hours to see if anything happens.
