I also use my duet exclusively to play local files and I definitely will not sign up anywhere just to do so. I don't even have internet access at my summer house. If Logitech really insist on a sign up, I'll have to either resell the device or stick with 7.3.4 and all its known bugs and unfinished beta features I'm long waiting for (e.g. head phone jack). So, please Logitech, rethink that decision. Again. Please.
