Partly answered,there are two issues that get mixed in those treads. 1. Internet connection
2. Mandatory SN membership They don't necessarily belong together. I'm aware of that some SC functions get supported in the background by SN. You might not get the full experience as conceived by logitech without it. And of course partnering services probably want their offerings to exposed to new customers right out of the box.
