I agree re: an absolute requirement to have a high speed internet connection.
To give another usecase example, I moved house recently and had no broadband for 10 days, only a 3G dongle connection. Because we moved to another provider I needed to reset up all my players in terms of their connection to SC and this required a few factory resets.
