Well, I don't know what happened. Guy who had his controller locked at 7.3.xxx brought his system over tonight as he's moving house & I have to take care of it for a while. Plugged it in, & controller now magically at 7.4.0 r7713 Beats me how that happened. My wife thinks it's normal, leave these things alone for a while & they mutate or something & fix themselves. But how?? I don't think the guy touched anything! Beats me, but as my wife would say, why do you need to know why it wasn't working before & now is? Just don't fiddle anymore or else it'll go bad again...
