After a while of everything seeming to work after I rescanned everything with the new version of iVolume, I have now discovered that my MP3 files are not showing a Volume Adjustment in SS (in 7.4.1 or 7.4.2). My files are in iTunes 9.0.2 and all show a Volume Adjustment value (Sound Check) in iTunes. I have checked in MP3Tag and they all seem to have the ITUNNORM tag set. I have tried the usual full rescan/clearing cache to no avail.
The strange thing is that Apple Lossless and AAC files still scan the Sound Check value correctly. I have attached a sample MP3 to the bug 14110 set up by andyg above. Would be interested to know if when others scan this into SS they get a Volume Adjustment showing up.
