8.04LTS. And yes, I was trying to run embedded with SQLite, too and actually it DID work for a while, some time before Christmas it eventually stopped. My symptom is that it starts, runs with almost no CPU load and doesn't respond to anything. The scanner runs but is incredibly slow.
