Faraday Cage will not help as Pat's TP is wired and if its interference it will just come in on the Ethernet or Power Cord. The solution is to unplug the Microwave. If its not plugged it, it can't come on and cause interference. But seriously the real issue seems to be the new microwave as that is what has changed in the equation. If you can return it, I would. Need to check Consumer Reports for the model and brands that don't spray the room down with RF Energy. It also helps to check the model at the store. Have them put a cup of water in the microwave and turn it on. If you can see light coming out the back, side, or bottom of the microwave when it is running, don't buy it. If light from the inside bulb is getting out, RF Engery is also getting out. Check the door gasket to make sure it goes completely around and a metal door with a glass window with fine screening, these are the only ones that keep RF energy in. If the interior doesn't have an RF window cover on the wave guide port, also don't buy it. The down side here is that most microwaves under $300 leak badly as restrictions and requirements have been reduced. -- iPhone *iPhone* Media Room: Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1 Living Room: Duet, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Kitchen: Squeezebox BOOM Bedroom: Second Boom Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75148 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
