Michael - sorry I wasn't complaining - just responding to potential pitfalls in the solution as Jim had written it.
I hardly use the web gui so hadn't noticed how it behaved. The missing track artists on SBC, I'd picked up under 9633 and I'm very happy there's now some progress. Adding AlbumArtist into the SBC Now playing may be noticed by more people that those suffering the missing track artists. The fact that the web now playing, web pop-up, SB3 and SBC are inconsistent makes it difficult to know which the 'correct' or expected case is. Jim, against my 3 cases item 1) was partly a 'work-round' to get the correct information into the SBC display given 9633. The fact that it preserves the nuances of 'featuring', etc. was a bonus item 3) suits me as I have hundred of compilations and in the album view (sorted by artist and year), its nice to have some control over the sort order. The only case for including AlbumArtist is if said artist is deliberately not in TrackArtist (which I think is rare, but did see one thread with someone doing that).
