Web UI is working fairly well, but there are issues with SqueezePlay players.
eg. for my example album "No Quarter: Unledded":
ALBUM=No Quarter: Unledded
ARTIST=Jimmy Page
ARTIST=Robert Plant
BAND=Page & Plant
In the Web UI, the album can be accessed through Browse Artists under Jimmy
Page, Robert Plant or Page & Plant.
The Web UI album display shows:
Artist: Robert Plant, Jimmy Page
Band/Orchestra: Page & Plant
and the Web UI for a track consistently displays the same two artists (in track
info, in current playlist and currently playing track areas).
One minor issue is the order of artist names isn't preserved (i.e. it is
reporting Robert Plant first, even though songs have been tagged having Jimmy
Page as the first artist, and sort ordering would also pick Jimmy Page first).
I guess it is ordering the list by internal database artist id (and thus could
be different with each full rescan).
On Touch, when clicking on the album name, it only lists the album as being by
one artist (shows Jimmy Page).
If I play a song, it only lists the song as being by one artist (shows Robert
Plant).
i.e. it chooses one artist, but differently.
(It does display properly in Track Info, although it's harder to get to track
info in SqueezePlay, so it probably doesn't help users much to rely on that
only).
Note the album doesn't have an album artist, and I have turned off "List artist
by Band" option to test artist name reporting.
I think I've raised this as a bug in the past - or commented on an existing bug
(could be one reported earlier in this thread), but can't check the number at
the moment as bugzilla is down for maintenance.
