I think I can confirm this 100% now - if the MusicIP reload interval is NOT set to zero (ie turned off) 7.5e endlessly rescans every minute after adding new tracks via a rescan. The only way to stop it doing this is to change the reload intrval or clear the cache and do a full rescan.
