Now that I think about it again... If you use the remote server
function, where you've designating a server by IP address... is there
any 'discovery' even necessary?  I'm sure there's some type of
connection negotiation that must happen on port 3483 (which I think is
done over TCP on port 3483), but what is there to discover?
