You might need to check some of your settings or your ISP or possibly
see if using iTunes as the MP3 Player helps (I am not saying use iTunes
for local listening or for library management, just as the MP3 Player
when using the remote server link). I was three hours from the house
last weekend in the mountains using it and it responds just like I am
on the LAN at home. The WebUI reacts and functions just like when I am
local as do the players and the MP3 session.

I am even transcoding from FLAC to StreamMP3 without any issues while
using this method.

I like Squeezeplay, but there are situations where it can't be used due
to company policy or other reasons. So the solution I described works
and works well for me.
