You might need to check some of your settings or your ISP or possibly see if using iTunes as the MP3 Player helps (I am not saying use iTunes for local listening or for library management, just as the MP3 Player when using the remote server link). I was three hours from the house last weekend in the mountains using it and it responds just like I am on the LAN at home. The WebUI reacts and functions just like when I am local as do the players and the MP3 session. I am even transcoding from FLAC to StreamMP3 without any issues while using this method. I like Squeezeplay, but there are situations where it can't be used due to company policy or other reasons. So the solution I described works and works well for me. -- iPhone *iPhone* Media Room: Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1 Living Room: Duet, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Kitchen: Squeezebox BOOM Bedroom: Second Boom Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79510 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
