I was having some problems with the scanner and its results and I found that deleting cache using the control panel did not help. I saw that only some songs have MusicIP results and some rescans seemed to take forever.
Anyway, I just navigated to the Squeezebox/cache directory and deleted all files there (leaving the directories as they were). I started up SBS and it seems to be doing a new scan and looking at task manager it seems to be the in-process scanner only.
