Its a local NAS device. 7.5 worked just fine with it, but 7.6 won't scan with exactly the same path and setup. No permissions are necessary for the NAS and both SB and NAS are behind the router/firewall. I've tried mapping the path to a drive. despite the mapped drive working just fine for every other windows program, it won't show up in SB 7.6. the path appears to work in 7.6 -- at least its browsable to that path -- but it can't find any of the music in the subfolders there. don't know how or why something as basic as this would have been changed from 7.5, but i think i'll be going back a version unless someone has some thoughts on quick work arounds.
