This time the automatic rescan seems to be doing something. I still don't get any indication that a scan is happening (i.e. Web UI status area doesn't say that a scan is in progress), but I can tell it is doing something because the disk is chattering away. I guess it has scanned my default "My Music" folder, which is empty, but has now decided to do an iTunes import, which is taking ages. I guess there are issues with migration from 7.5.x to 7.6 - using existing prefs doesn't seem to work due to scanner locking issues. I'm hoping that after this unhelpfull/unavoidable initial scan is finally complete, I'll be able to manually change all of my prefs to match 7.5.x settings, disable unused default plugins (get rid of iTunes plugin for starters!), reinstall all plugins and reconfigure all plugin settings, etc, then do a full rescan. _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
