Thanks. After completing point 5), I now see that SBS is -Discovering files (15112 of 15112) Running 00:03:35-, although I see no scanner.exe in Task Manager's "Show processes from all users". ... and now it's done. There's nothing new in scanner.log.
Ok, I choose "D:\SBS Musikkmappe" instead of "F:\FLAC", because that's what I want to use as a starting point (so I'll have the possibility of adding the odd MP3 as well as my FLAC collection). Now I see scanner.exe (one instance). I don't think it's going to find anything new, because I already see all my albums in SBS, but I'd like to run a successful scan every morning to look for new music. Do you think it's going to behave now, if I turn on daily scanning, or do you think it might crash half of the time? Perhaps I could write a script that checked for scanner.exe, and killed one instance if it found two. I don't know if that would free the database or what. -- Soulkeeper -that is not dead which can eternal lie. and with strange aeons even death may die.- duet + boom + radio (+touch on the way) / wrt160n/dd-wrt / sbs 7.5.1 or higher/win7/avira free ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Soulkeeper's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35297 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81884 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
