For what its worth, i think they realised the cpu is to underpowered to run tinysc without a few niggles and also it appears to have some issues with certain hard drives. So if your a developer who's ploughed money into a new product and suddenly that product cant do a feature your been advertising.....well thats easy, you just say its built into it but we dont officially support it. I do think this is a major let down, its like buying a car and being told driving in the rain isnt officially supported. The touch when it works is awesome but just needs a little bit more grunt to make tinysc perfect. There are still things they can do in the firmware to make it faster though, turning off auto scanning every time you turn it on, that would save users a lot of hassle. You only read need to scan if you add more music.
