What beats me as an dB n00b is the fact that the dB created is not "good enough" to be used by all optional ways to "see" the collection ? Why not create a complete dB that has all info needed ?
If an option for example lumps certain albums to one album or something else, why not have both kind of info in the dB ? "albums if a=x" or "albums if a=y" if a dB is what i think it is just columns and rows of data why not create dB entries for all the options during scan. All options may create a lot of possible combination. Tiny SC won't need this as it does not have many options. Another idea why must it be in the dB ? if one wants to present a disc set as one disc (it is the present multidiscs as one album option right ?), This could be done by the web-UI program or jive .
