Now that I think about this again... Could this work? If a long button press sets a preset, how would it be recalled? A short press on the alphanumberic keypad is used to navigate some menus by letter (at least on the Touch, not sure about ip3k players). Can players distinguish between a long press (recall preset) and an extra-long one (set preset)? Context menus can be used to set favorites, but not presets. There's no web interface for creating or editing presets. ..... So is that the problem?
