I just gave 7.6 a spin again - it has been several months since I last tried it.
It looks promising - however, I noticed the recurrence of an old problem - the single flac/embedded cue sheet issue. Almost fixed in the 7.5 series, the single flac albums with embedded cue are not playable at all in 7.6 r31864. The albums do not appear in the database, nor are they playable if I browse by folder. I've filed a bug report (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=16845).
