Which big changes are you seeing that's visible to end users and will
be considered a huge improvement compared to 7.5 ?

I'm just asking because your statement makes me feel I have missed
something I should have seen. I know about SQLite, artwork performance
improvements and UPnP server but all those are technical things, hardly
something making it worth calling it 8.0, possibly with the exception of
UPnP server which might be a big improvement for users who have a third
party UPnP player and want to use SBS. For Squeezebox owners, I still
haven't figured out the big thing with the UPnP server, but I've
probably missed something obvious.

My hope is still "before summer".
I don't think April Fools day would be impossible if they decided to
start finish things to get ready for a release, 4-5 developers can
accomplish quite a bit during 1.5 months.

The bugzilla clean-up they did recently might be an indication that we
are getting closer to a release.
