I'd like to insist I agree with that.
I make softwares used in Asia.

It is out of question to not fully support chinese characters
(filenames, tags, whatever ...) if you sell your products to Chinese
people.
This is obviously also true for japanese characters, or european
accents.

Windows handles nicely unicode filenames, paths and texts.
Everything which works fine on Windows should work fine with SBS

This include free search, as it is discussed in another topic,
concerning 7.6 bug about characters with accents are search functions.
