Windows 7 SP1 x64 Can an app even change privs up and then back down mid-process? Every other app I have seen, including Windows vista/7 themselves need to launch separate processes with their own UI for settings that would require admin rights. Straight out of the installer the squeezeboxserver tray app is running as admin as the installer was running as admin due to UAC automatic detection of installers. So the settings work at that point I believe. But it running as admin is wrong anyways.
