Just remember that as Michael says later in that thread, a large part
of the Linux users are NAS users and most of those are typically using
an older perl version which isn't causing any problems.
Unless I've misunderstood something the problem currently only occurs
for people that want to use the latest Linux distribution on their SBS
machine. Personally, I'm just running my SBS in a virtual
computer(VirtualBox) still using Ubuntu 8.04LTS which have perl 5.8.8,
this way I can upgrade the OS on the main server but still keep the
older OS version for SBS in the virtual computer.
