Installed 7.6 r32713 on my Win XP test box, set (scan.scanner) - Music & Playlist Folder Scanning to debug and fired up a clear & rscan. Tried 3 times, same crash but at different places according to the scanner log. All crashs were while scanning MP3 files. Funny thing is, 7.6 r32108 completes a clear & rescan without a hitch every time.
